Online Group Therapy

Groups 

(all times are in Pacific Standard Time, clients must live in WA or FL, groups are for adults of all ages, groups are online, 1 hour and 15 minutes, cost is $60, sliding scale available).

Current groups:

Rainbow Heads/ Neurodiversity Group:

Mondays, 12:30-1:30 pm

We discuss our experiences relating to being Autistic and/or ADHD, such as masking, having conversations with neurotypical people, decisions for diagnoses, and experiences with medication, and whatever feels important to us! Also check out this list of great neurodiversity books by neurodiverse authors!

Healing from Toxic Relationships Group:

This is a group to talk and learn about toxic relationships, domestic violence, and/or intimate partner violence. This includes relationships with family, partners, work, friendships, all types of relationships. 

If you are interested in this group, please see the Healing from Toxic Relationship course page to get started. Everyone interested in the group should take the course, and then when finished, fill out the waitlist to express interest in attending the group. I will start the new group sometime in the fall, when there are enough interested people. It will be an 8 week group, and there will be payment options for all or half up front.

Finding Love and Dating:

This is a group to talk about finding love! Dating is hard! Let's get together to talk through the process, the challenges, watch out for the warning signs of abuse/red flags, set up dating profiles, get through those first awkward messages and dates, and celebrate our successes! All genders and sexualities welcome and appreciated!

Careers and Entrepreneurship:

​This is a group to talk about finding and creating careers we love! There are limitless jobs out there - why not find one you love! In this group we will talk about determining what we love and what we're good at, building businesses, writing cover letters and resumes, and everything in between! All ages and abilities welcome!

Group structure:

In therapy groups, we will come together to talk about our experiences. This group will have a loose structure, giving us space and time to let conversations flow naturally for us and for us to support one another. As the group facilitator, I will bring us together, suggest conversation topics and therapeutic activities, and keep the conversation flowing. Processing groups will meet indefinitely, and be open for new people to join. The aim is for each group to have 4 to 8 people, ideally the same people every week.

Group timing

All groups will be held online, on a weekday, and between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm PST. Groups will meet weekly for 60 minutes. Group therapy costs $60 per session. If the fee is a concern to you, please let me know and we can determine a fee that feels comfortable for you. I am able to bill insurance for Aetna, but not other insurance companies. You may contact your insurance company to see if it will accept super bills (statements to ask your insurance company to refund you for services.)
